We are baking Sourdough Breads
Slow breads, refers to the slow process involved in the making of the bread. A traditional method which takes a minimum of 24 hours from start to finish. This time allows the natural sour-dough cultures time to work on the grain, predigesting phytates and gluten molecules that many people find hard to digest. This slow fermentation also enriches the bread, increasing nutrients such as folate, iron and B vitamins. It also improves the keeping quality of the bread.
Slow bread is easy to digest, a complex carbohydrate that will help to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and a happy tummy. The long slow fermentation really improves the texture and flavour of the bread and that’s important too!

Whole Wheat Country Loaf – sourdough (25cm)
- Organic Wheat flour, a pinch of sea salt and time.

Malt House Loaf - sourdough (25 cm)
- A blend of Organic, rye, wheat and malted rye flakes, a pinch of sea salt and time.

Country White loaf – sourdough (25cm)
- Organic Wheat, pinch of sea salt, sprinkle of poppy seed and time.

Spelt Wholemeal County loaf - sourdough (20cm)
- organic Spelt flour, pinch of sea salt and time.

Spelt County white loaf - sourdough (20cm)
- organic Spelt flour, pinch of sea salt and time.

Borodinsky – sourdough (20 cm)
- 75% Organic rye and wheat flour, seasalt. A dark loaf made with molasses and malt extract, sultanas soaked in vodka with a hint of coriander and time.

Rye Seaweed Loaf - sourdough (20 cm)
- 75% Organic rye, wheat, wild Irish seaweed, pinch of seasalt and time.

Rye Caraway seed Loaf - sourdough (20 cm)
- 75% Organic rye, wheat, organic caraway seed, pinch of sea salt and time.


Baguettes
- We also bake a variety of baguettes - Olive, Tomato and Plain.
